Strengthening Source of Life…
… steadfast in all our yesterdays, surrounding us here this day , and still tomorrow.

We come tonight...
grateful for your Spirit in this present moment in time…
even in our amazement that 50 years have filled all of our yesterdays since graduation…
grateful that we can at least recognize each other's names despite all the years of aging...
grateful for all of those who have so faithfully spent long hours to make this reunion possible!

We come tonight - O God...
thankful for this our class of 58
… for the richness of the memories that delight us
… for the dedication of the teachers who inspired & nurtured us
… for the gift of friendships that indelibly formed us in community…
thankful indeed for our life journeys --- and the constancy of Your presence through all of the many challenges and changes, sad times and the celebrations.
...
Gracious God of all our circling years--we come tonight...
honoring this holy moment in time
... prayerfully remembering that from You we are created and to You we return
and so it is that we come honoring and remembering all those who have returned to Your eternal care
... and we seek your blessing on their loved ones
... AND on each of us here as we come…
grateful.. thankful... prayerful
... bringing all that we have been
... all that we are
... and all that we still hope to be.

Be with us, O God of Life...
as we celebrate in this momentous milestone in time with food and renewed friendship
... and we pray that You will continue to guide us into our futures
... empowering us on the rest of our life's journey to choose
the power of love and laughter…
truth and peace …
commitment and caring
… daring us to make a difference for the generations that follow us.

May we live this day and all our days with the gifts that are ours to share!
