From Connie's Notes: That is me at the podium - yes, I was Valedictorian and the punishment for that is that you have to give a speech. On the original photo, I can make out faces of the others sitting behind me - it is astonishingly clear when you consider the lighting, the kinds of cameras we had, and the fact that this photo was not treated royally. © 2002 SHS Class of '58
