LL ABOARD! Leaving for Corning, Painted Post, and points West, or East if you catch it going the other way. New York City was a lot closer because of this place. This is another photo courtesy of Mike Paul, who has sent us so many photos over the years. There were a lot of boot camp sailors who boarded this train for the Great Lakes Naval Training Center.
