ictures of Elmira are what this web site is all about
and a person who understood that as well as anyone was Mike Paul. I
first met Mike at an Elmira Day in Melbourne, Florida in 2000. He and
I had corresponded several times by e-mail about photos that he had
sent to me from his vast collection. We spent almost two hours that
day going through boxes of photos he had brought with him.
Mike
passed away on August 30, 2004 after a brief illness. I will very much
miss not having my yearly visit with him at Elmira
Day in Florida. His photos, however will live on. We have displayed
a number of them in the past here, and you can review them again from
the list below.
