In June of 1958, I joined the United States Navy and served on the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid. Upon leaving the Navy in 1961, I went to work as an electrician for Bendix Corporation, now called Purolator Products in Elmira Heights. Retired from there as Maintenance Supervisor in 1991. Since retiring, I spend most of my time doing landscaping and enjoying my lifetime passion for hunting and fishing.
