The Class of '54 was taught by the following teachers at Hopkins Street:

Kindergarten - there was no kindergarten when the Class of 54 would have started in that grade (that would have been in 1945). For Kindergarten, students either went to Number Nine or another Elmira City School or didn't go at all. Kindergarten wasn't offered at Hopkins Street until 1946 (the year we started First Grade).
First Grade - Mrs. Roe
Second Grade - Mrs. Button
Third Grade - Mrs. Strouse
Fourth Grade - Mrs. Dodge
Fifth Grade - Mrs. Smith
Sixth Grade - Miss Baker
Seventh Grade - Mrs. Cook
Eighth Grade and Principal - Mrs. Kime
