Editor's Note: The reunion committee created a Reunion Booklet for our 1998 reunion - you can purchase it from us for $10.00 per copy. The booklet contains a number of auto-biographical sketches like this one as our Whatever Happened series continues.

Hello from Pine City, NY.

We have 3 girls, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Janet Dimon (teacher in Galeton, and waitress Log Cabin Inn) she has 2 children. Craig (18) has 1 son, Carly (15).

Marlene Budnick (controller in Ithaca) she has 2 children. Chris (14) and Jessica (12)

Brenda Cole (going back to college and Bartender Log Cabin Inn) she has 3 children. Joshua (16) and Tasha (16) - twins, and Eric (14).

Bob went to Broome Tech for 1 year after graduation from SHS and then went to work at the Elmira Water Board in the filter and pump stations. In 1966 he went to work for New York State Electric and Gas Co. as a driver groundman.

Pat worked at Chemung Canal Trust company until 1973 at which time Bob and she sold their home in Pine City and purchased the Hunting Valley Inn in Gaines, PA. There they had a restaurant, bar, 14 rooms, 5 cabins and 3 trailers.

In 1984 they were partners in the Crystal City Door and Glass in Corning, NY with Pat's brother. In 1986 they had to move their business and built a building in East Corning and added a new business, Crystal City Party Center. In 1989 they decided to go back in the restaurant business and purchased Bill and Kay's (used to be Masia's Restaurant). Pat says, "We have been very fortunate that all the businesses have been very successful. Now we are ready to sell again and slow down."
