Whatever Happened to Bernadine Butler?	1958's Bernadine Butler

Bernadine and her husband, John Royce, are spending the month of June (98) in South America, more specifically on the Amazon River, so I will give you an idea of what she's been doing the last 40 years.

Living in Reno, NV since 1977 - She sold her Big Flats home and headed for Portland, OR, but her Volkswagon van broke down in Reno and there she stayed!

Children: Susan, 37, a lawyer in San Diego, CA. Lisa, 35, a social worker in San Diego, CA.
Husband: John Royce, a commercial mortgage broker
Education: Cosmetology School, BS in Anthropology from UN at Reno, Primary Education Certification from Sierra Nevada College.
Occupations: Hairdresser, owned her own shop for many years. Sold, designed and constructed log homes (she lives in one of her creations). Teacher in primary education (grades 1-3) since 1996.
Hobbies: Travel, Desert Camping, Biking, Snow Skiing.
Volunteering: Works with homeless. Teaches English to Hispanic residents.

Bernadine enjoys excellent health and is always looking for a new adventure. She'll not be able to attend this year's reunion because her long awaited first grandchild is due in late July. She sends greetings to all.
