Montour Falls

lmira's families migrate to Seneca, Keuka and Waneta in the summer. And on the way to Seneca's Watkins Glen is Montour Falls. This natural waterfall is just what the doctor ordered for family fun and picnicking. If only there were a picnic bench somewhere around. But that's another story.

This photo was sent into us by Carole Boyd, SHS Class of 1958, who snapped it on a visit to the Elmira Area during the holidays in December 2006. Lots and lots of water. Our thanks to Carole for sharing this memory with us.
